Job Description: Director, Global Sales Enablement
Position Overview: Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Global Sales Enablement. This pivotal role will drive the sales enablement strategy and support a global sales force in achieving its targets and objectives. As the Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive training programs, sales tools, and resources to empower our clients sales teams worldwide. This position reports directly to the Chief Sales Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Enablement Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales enablement strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Training and Development: Create and implement effective training programs, both virtual and in-person, to enhance the skills and capabilities of our sales team across different regions.
- Sales Content and Resources: Oversee the development and maintenance of sales playbooks, training materials, presentations, product collateral, and other sales resources to support the sales process.
- Sales Methodology: Establish and promote a consistent sales methodology to increase productivity, improve sales effectiveness, and facilitate knowledge sharing across sales teams globally.
- Sales Technology and Tools: Identify, evaluate, and implement appropriate sales technologies, tools, and platforms to improve sales efficiency and effectiveness.
- Sales Reporting and Analytics: Collaborate with the Sales Operations team to gather and analyze sales data, providing insights and recommendations to optimize sales performance.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Liaise with key stakeholders from marketing, product development, and other departments to ensure alignment and collaboration on sales enablement initiatives.
- Sales Onboarding: Design and lead an effective onboarding program for new sales hires, ensuring rapid assimilation into the organization and understanding of our products, services, and value proposition.
- Sales Enablement Team Management: Build and lead a high-performing global sales enablement team, providing mentorship, guidance, and career development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Proven experience in a sales enablement leadership role, preferably in a global organization
- Solid understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and tools
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and delivering sales training programs and resources
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess sales metrics, identify trends, and recommend improvements
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, with experience leading and motivating teams
- Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with sales enablement technology platforms is a plus
