The Role:
The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for managing the Sales division effectiveness by working closely with wider sales and support teams and relevant business functions. Teammates support with effective sales planning, sales quota setting, client and CRM data management, ERP planning, CRM system set-up, sales process optimisation, and implementing best practice across Marketing and Sales.
Primary responsibilities:
Support Chief Revenue Officer to achieve targets by monitoring the pipeline, services backlog and updating the forecasting pack regularly.
Analyse performance metrics and provide feedback to the Senior Leadership Team so they can optimise sales team resources and increase sales effectiveness, when required.
Review and interpret regular data sets, and create presentations, QBRs, business reviews and other KPIs for managers and directors.
Review, analyse, communicate, and manage best practice for renewals, contract renewals, other key trends.
Provide highlights to Senior Leadership in advance of annual operational planning and budgeting cycles.
Set the strategy and future goals for the designated sales team.
Work closely with the CRO to apply targets and verify sales commission calculations when required.
Ensure consistent management of the sales organisations data in insight’s ERP system to management reporting is accurate.
Manage projects and create tailored reports using various data for different leadership levels.
Monitor the ERP system and take responsibility for the successful resolution of sales operations workflow tickets along with any escalations.
Liaise with the Marketing team to create, implement, and track successful marketing leads/campaigns such as marketing automation systems (e.g., Hubspot).
Drive operational excellence in the sales organisation by identifying issues and solutions to make business flow better by developing and implementing processes and procedures.
Outline and define new and upcoming sales processes and or projects to the senior leadership team.
Skills and experience needed for this role:
Fully conversant with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
Proven ability to communicate effectively with managers and senior members across the organisation, and external stakeholders
Experience of working within tight timescales whilst maintaining good attention to detail and quality
Demonstrates experience of managing and motivating a high performing team within a fast paced, target driven environment
Demonstrates previous experience of working with and use of CRM systems
Experience of working within a globally diverse environment
Salary:
£50,000 - £60,000 basic per annum depending on experience. £80,000 OTE.
