Sales and Marketing team is looking to add a
National Account Manager. This job will be a field-based, home office location with 30% travel required.
This role is an integral part of the BrightFarms sales organization and demonstrates strong strategic planning/management skills and experience with Nationally based customers, including Kroger, Walmart, Ahold, Delhaize and Publix. They will drive collaboration with cross functional teams to execute companywide goals and strategies. This person is the lead business partner for National sales accounts and a key cross functional partner with marketing and sales operations.
Specifically, You Will
- Demonstrate strong communication with all stakeholders regarding customer, sector and industry insights and competitive trends
- Responsible for customer level Key Performance Indicators
- Develop, implement and update AOPs for assigned customers
- Negotiate authorizations with customers and manages contract compliance
- Effectively manage trade within designated customers
- Maintain top-to-top relationships with customer’s headquarters supply side and senior management teams including sales and marketing management. Drive sales through relationships with customer’s marketing and sales leadership team and customer’s national sales team
- Create effective relationships throughout the customer organization to improve BrightFarms strategic position within the customer’s decision makers, influencers, and sales teams
- Develop a budget and annual operating target for assigned customers, measured by growth of key performance indicators. Hold quarterly business meetings to plan with customer’s leadership. Coordinate and update customer plans with stake holders
- Manage and maintain contractual agreements with assigned customers by engaging appropriate stakeholders and following the prescribed process. Ensure contract compliance
- Lead the negotiation process and engage appropriate support when contract negotiations are required
The Ideal Candidate Has
- B.S./B.A. (required) Sales/Marketing, Business or related field
- M.S./MBA (preferred) in Marketing, Business or related field
- Produce Experience a plus but not required
- Experience pulling, analyzing and interpreting IRI/Nielsen/SPINS data
- Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills
- Innate curiosity to uncover trends, problems and opportunities through data
- Good storytelling
- Strong relationship building skills
- Track record of successfully applying data to drive decisions
- Kroger, Walmart, Ahold, Delhaize or Publix customer HQ experience
- Customer database understanding: M6, 84.51, Retail Link
