Job Summary
Real Chemistry is continuing to grow our Sales Operations Team and we have a new
Deal Desk Analyst role open. This key individual will work with senior leadership to evolve our quote to cash process and the ideal candidate will have prior experience in the Deal Desk function or as a Proposal Manager. The Deal Desk Analyst drives the implementation and company-wide adoption of standardized processes, roles and responsibilities, as well as real time reporting and analysis for opportunity management and pricing. Working directly with our Account and Finance Teams, you will help ensure resource and pricing plans meet Real Chemistry standards, while establishing best practices for accurate and efficient order management. This is a great opportunity for an aspirational individual to learn & build at scale while having visibility into various parts of the business!
This role is in the New York City area, with ability to go into the New York City office 1-2 days per week.
What You'll Do
- Work closely with Sales Management, Finance, Legal and Support team to guide the approvals process.
- Lead process improvement and system adoption projects to provide scalable support to the account and finance teams.
- Stakeholder in CRM, CPQ Quoting Tool, Standard Agreement and Order Forms.
- Train Sales teams on deal desk engagement and process.
- Develop a roadmap for implementation of enhancements and new features through cross-functional stakeholder influence.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills (both verbal and written) across all levels of the business.
- Develop deal tracking metrics, discounts, pricing, approvals and deal KPIs.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures pertaining to SOWs and Change Orders.
- Work with mostly remote employees.

What You Should Have
- 3+ years of experience in sales, finance, sales operations, deal desk, pricing, or order management.
- Experience with SalesForce necessary.
- Experience developing and maintaining standard deal desk processes, approval matrixes and order terms.
- Problem solver, must possess excellent judgment skills & be self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Adjust priorities to respond to pressing and changing demands; meet deadlines by managing teams, time & priorities.
- Professional communication manner and ability to triage messages when appropriate.
- Exhibit a positive, pro-active “can do” attitude with all team members and is willing to pitch in whenever needed.
Pay Range: $85,000 - $100,000
This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location.
