We are in search of a dynamic and experienced Permanent Director of Sales & Operations to join our growing team in the Construction industry. This role is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead our sales team while overseeing the operational aspects of our business. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, with a strong background in sales leadership, mentorship, strategic planning, hiring, market research, and P&L responsibilities. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing budgets, and ensuring operational efficiency. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position and a proven track record of success.Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans in line with the company's business goals and objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team to achieve sales targets.
- Oversee the entire operations of the business, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes.
- Manage P&L responsibilities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and understand industry trends.
- Develop and implement hiring strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Monitor and track sales goals, providing regular updates to the executive team.
- Collaborate with other departments to drive operational excellence and achieve company goals.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize sales and operational performance.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Construction industry.
- Proven track record of successful sales leadership and operations management.
- Exceptional mentorship and team leadership abilities.
- Strong understanding of P&L responsibilities, budgeting, and financial management.
- Excellent strategic planning and execution skills.
- Experience in hiring, developing, and retaining top talent.
- Proficient in market research and data analysis.
- Ability to monitor and track sales goals effectively.
- Strong understanding of the Construction industry and market trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proactive, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred.
