- Collaborate with the Director of Sales to develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to meet defined sales objectives.
- Evaluate and optimize sales processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Lead, guide and support the global sales team.
- Facilitate regular calls with sales personnel to understand sales strategy and discuss possible solutions to open issues with customers.
- Properly communicate with and set the expectation to customers on product availability and order status.
- Research and implement best practices, automation tools, and CRM systems to streamline workflows.
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor data to identify growth opportunities.
- Work in cooperation with the Sales Analyst to develop KPIs to track progress towards sales goals.
- Analyze sales data, metrics, and KPIs to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Provide detailed analysis and reports that track sales performance and provide insights to management.
- Assist in the creation of annual sales budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor actual sales performance against budgeted targets and make recommendations for necessary adjustments.
- Identify areas for cost control and revenue enhancement.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
- Address any cross-functional issues that may impact sales performance.
- Attend industry events to meet with customers and provide in person sales training.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- 3-5 years of proven experience in sales operations. Management of a sales operations team preferred.
- Solid understanding of operational processes such as accounts, resellers, forecasting, partner incentives, and sales compensation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
