Role Summary:
The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) will be responsible for driving revenue growth and profitability across all channels of the business. As a key member of the executive team, the CRO will define and implement a comprehensive revenue strategy aligned with the company's mission to become a leader in hydrogen-powered defense technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Strategy: Develop and execute a robust revenue growth plan that integrates sales, marketing, and partnerships.
- Sales Leadership: Build and lead a high-performance sales team focused on acquiring new business and growing existing customer relationships.
- Marketing Oversight: Collaborate with the Marketing team to create campaigns and initiatives that support revenue growth targets.
- Customer Retention: Implement strategies to increase customer lifetime value and reduce churn, emphasizing customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Partnership Development: Identify and secure strategic partnerships that extend the company's market reach and revenue streams.
- Pricing Models: Develop and adjust pricing strategies to maximize revenue while maintaining competitive positioning.
- Financial Forecasting: Work closely with the Finance team to create and maintain revenue forecasts and budgets.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with clients, partners, and vendors to ensure beneficial terms for the company.
- KPI Management: Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to revenue growth, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Stakeholder Communication: Clearly articulate revenue strategies, objectives, and outcomes to the board of directors, investors, and the broader organization.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, marketing, or a revenue-focused role, preferably in the defense or tech sectors.
- At least 5 years in a senior leadership position with a proven track record in revenue growth.
- Deep understanding of market trends and customer needs within the defense industry.
- Strong negotiation skills and business acumen.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offers may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in all offers and are considered part of Mach’s total compensation package. Compensation Range: $180K - $350K
