My client is a leading FinTech business that specialises in delivering digital asset trading infrastructure for institutional investors. They aim to bridge the gap between traditional finance and the world of digital assets.
As the Chief Revenue Officer, your role will encompass designing and executing the go-to-market strategy, building and managing a high-performing sales organisation, and driving revenue growth. Working closely with the CEO and other key stakeholders, your objective is to achieve year-on-year growth targets and establish the company as an industry leader.
You will be responsible for;
- Develop and refine the go-to-market strategy, including identifying target client segments, devising channel and distribution strategies, and effectively allocating resources.
- Establish and optimise a sales organisation structure to execute the go-to-market strategy and achieve revenue goals outlined in the business plan.
- Implement and oversee a comprehensive revenue generation process, from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring proper monitoring, controls, and transparency through reports and alerts.
- Strategise and operationalise annual revenue targets across various segments, geographies, and product lines.
- Recruit, manage, and develop a high-performing sales team aligned with company objectives and values.
- Collaborate with the CPO and product leaders to provide customer-driven feedback and guide the development of products that meet customer needs.
- Monitor and manage the revenue pipeline, ensuring financial visibility, identifying potential delivery risks, and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Act as the senior executive sponsor for critical client relationships, acting as an ambassador and trusted advisor to key stakeholders, including future Board and ExCo clients, and fostering enterprise-wide relationships.

- Strong understanding of digital asset markets and the needs of institutional investors.
- Experience of Digital assets and/or SaaS sales
- Strong background working with customers in the Financial Services industry, including investment management, asset managers, hedge funds, pension funds, wealth managers, investment banks, and/or neobank
- Able to showcase successful recurring revenue generation from long-term strategic relationships in these segments of the Financial Services industry.
- Proven experience in leading sales teams, focusing on quantitative metrics, and demonstrating expertise in sales methodologies, forecasting, pipeline management, process management, performance management, analytics, and reporting.
- Track record of successfully closing complex enterprise sales and managing major account relationships, proficient in consultative solution selling and high business value solution selling methodologies.
- Extensive experience as a leader in software, content, and data, preferably in a rapidly growing technology company. Must have experience leading a scaling revenue sales organisation with a global team.
- Proven track record of achieving year-on-year growth and the ability to contribute strategically to the executive team. Previous results should instil confidence in the candidate's ability to drive revenue growth.
- Prior experience in developing strategic go-to-market plans, including segmentation, competitive analysis, competitive positioning, account targeting, account and territory strategy and coverage, routes to market, alliance strategy, pricing strategy, and sales organisation design.
