The Role

As the Head of Sales Operations for Stenn, you will play a pivotal role in establishing our Sales Operations structure as we embark on an ambitious 3-year growth trajectory.

In this role, you'll partner closely with sales leaders to develop thoughtful and innovative strategies that improve internal stakeholder experience, optimise performance, drive revenue, and reduce operational costs. You'll be a self-starter, with the ability to work efficiently, anticipate issues, and come up with innovative solutions to solve them.

Sales Effectiveness and Processes

  • Define and refine a standardised deal flow process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in deal execution.
  • Play an active role in deal and pipeline inspections, leveraging well-known methodologies such as MEDDPICC.
  • Design, implement, and lead sales forecasting and planning processes.
  • Create and own Sales Operations policies, procedures, and related resource material.
  • Drive the adoption of new technologies, processes, and tools to improve sales and sales operations productivity.
  • Develop, implement, and optimise sales commission plans to drive individual, team and organisational performance.
  • Oversee capacity modelling, and the assignment of salesforce quotas.

Data

  • Partner with Data and Finance to ensure clear data flows across multiple systems, resulting in accurate data, and insightful reporting.
  • Develop new reporting tools and dashboard critical metrics needed for measurement.
  • Ensure sales reports and other intelligence is readily available, and widely adopted.

Leadership

  • Lead, develop and mentor the Sales Operations team.

You

  • Clear and demonstrable experience in leading Sales Operations in fintech, cloud, information technology or software companies.
  • A strong aptitude for data analysis, coupled with a proactive operational mindset, capable of driving efficiency and effectiveness through data-driven strategies.
  • Solid strategic planning skills, combined with exceptional project execution capabilities.
  • A credible communicator and presenter.
  • Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments.

What Success Looks Like

  • Process: Develop, implement and embed sales processes with automation and velocity at heart.
  • Performance: Develop, implement and embed KPIs, sales metrics, compensation/incentive plans, and best practices methodologies.
  • Systems/Tools: Clearly define our data management and reporting structure, CRM configuration, and task automation requirements.
