Senior Sales Operations Analyst (CPQ)

Overview

Mastercard is seeking a dynamic Senior Sales Operations Analyst (CPQ) to join our D&S Insights and Enablement team. The Senior Sales Operations Analyst (CPQ) will support strategic and tactical platform projects to improve usability, increase business efficiencies, and deliver enhancements related to Configured Pricing across subscriptions, services, and other pricing schemas for our robust suite of product offerings.

This resource will ensure proper governance of the Mastercard product catalog for D&S products along with all associated and downstream relationships to marketing, sales, quote/contracts, Order Management, and financials. We also are in the process of implementing Salesforce.com’s CPQ solution along with PSQuote for Service Pricing. This resource will be driving improvement efforts and owning vendor relationships to ensure we are getting the most out of the solutions we have available.

Role

  • Drive the roadmap and improvement efforts of Salesforce.com CPQ and other product and pricing systems used by Data and Services.
  • Partner with our product and pricing organization to ensure best in class governance, process, and pricing are being used within our systems and platforms.
  • Collect business requirements, write technical stories and work with technology team and developers to test, validate and implement.
  • Provide training and change management for the CPQ, PSQuote, and Product Catalog user base.
  • Support investigation and resolution of issues, concerns, and escalated requests.
  • Conduct periodic Quality Control checks and Data Audits.
  • Support platform maintenance and enhancements as defined in the operations roadmap for integrations and system improvements.
  • Provide training and support to sales teams on CPQ usage, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques to maximize adoption and effectiveness.
  • Stay abreast of CPQ industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the sales operations function.


All About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in sales operations, with a focus on CPQ systems administration and configuration.
  • Strong proficiency in CPQ platforms such as Salesforce CPQ, Oracle CPQ, Apttus, or similar systems. Salesforce experience is preferred.
  • Experience in system implementation, customization, and administration within CPQ environments.
  • Solid understanding of sales processes, pricing strategies, and revenue models.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of customer service standards, processes, and tools Demo.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrates ability to contribute to support projects/inquiries related to CRM, ERP, and other operational systems (Oracle, Salesforce.com, Billing, etc.)
  • Salesforce certification(s) related to CPQ (e.g., Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist) is a plus.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. Atlanta, Georgia: $82,000 - $127,000 USD

O'Fallon, Missouri: $82,000 - $127,000 USD

Purchase, New York: $94,000 - $146,000 USD
