As an Amazon & Strategic Accounts Manager (ASAM
), you'll be at the forefront of executing our sales, marketing, and operational strategies for online retail partners. Your role will encompass collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, from marketing and creative to sales and operations, ensuring our client's online retail management goals are not just met but exceeded. Please note, this position is remote with occasional travel within central Texas. To be considered for the role, candidates are required to reside in the state of Texas.Here's what you'll be doing:
Education & Experience:
- Be the primary contact for key online retail accounts (e.g., Walmart.com, Amazon, OfficeDepot.com, Wayfair), nurturing strong relationships and managing third-party vendors that support these accounts.
- Handle assigned brick-and-mortar retail accounts with finesse.
- Project manage every facet of your accounts – from strategic planning to forecasting, content updates, and more, to maintain and foster channel growth.
- Oversee all non-advertising aspects of our Amazon business, from product listings and brand store management to pricing, inventory, and growth strategies.
- Keep close tabs on third-party vendors contributing to the Amazon account's success.
- Support our Influencer & Social Media Marketing Manager in activities crucial to our online retail and direct-to-consumer success.
- Play a pivotal role in ensuring accounts stay on budget for operational, marketing, and sales expenses.
- Become a guru in retailer portals and establish strong buyer relationships.
- Identify and seize opportunities for account growth.
- Engage in regular Strategic Account meetings for your accounts.
- Foster lasting client relationships and communicate progress to internal stakeholders.
- Stay on top of key account metrics and assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations.
- Be the first point of contact for retailer payment issues.
- Boast extensive ecommerce experience, particularly in driving traffic and conversions for consumer-packaged goods.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- Bring at least 3 years' Amazon 3P (FBA) experience to the table.
- Exhibit a deep understanding of online marketing strategies and channels.
- Possess impeccable communication and influencing skills, including dealing with executives and C-level stakeholders.
- Be a self-starter with an eye for business-critical trends.
- Master the art of managing multiple projects while maintaining a keen eye for detail.
- Excel in listening, negotiation, and presentation.
- Demonstrate solid expertise in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
- Familiarity with Asana project management software is a definite plus.
