The Sales Operations Manager takes the helm in managing the Sales Operations team that consist of Customer Account Specialists, Key Account Specialists, and Technical Support. Beyond day-to-day responsibilities, the Sales Operations Manager will lead crafting visionary strategies that secure the future of Sales Operations while considering the needs of both internal and external stakeholders. By refining and enhancing Sales Operations and establishing a robust framework to drive consistent efficiency and growth.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage and guide a team of customer account specialists, key account specialist and technical support professionals, ensuring cohesive collaboration and effective performance.
- Spearhead initiatives to enhance the customer experience by optimizing sales operations processes, resolving escalations promptly, and ensuring timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales operation teams, consistently evaluating and improving their efficiency, responsiveness, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Continuously identify areas for process optimization within sales operations functions, implementing streamlined workflows and best practices to increase overall operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with sales, production, supply chain, manufacturing, engineering, and quality assurance teams to align strategies and ensure seamless communication, thereby guaranteeing customer requirements are met and issues are resolved promptly.
- Oversee training programs to equip sales operations staff with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide expert assistance and effectively address customer concerns.
- Develop and implement protocols for handling escalated customer issues, providing guidance to your team on appropriate resolutions and ensuring customer satisfaction is maintained.
- Utilize data-driven insights to identify trends, areas of improvement, and potential opportunities within sales operations support functions.
- Stay updated on relevant technologies and tools that can enhance sales operations capabilities and assess their suitability for integration into existing and future processes.
- Collaborate with senior management to contribute insights for strategic planning, leveraging your understanding of sales operations support operations to shape the company's overall sales and customer experience strategies.

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Track record of successful leadership in sales operations, preferably within a manufacturing environment, showcasing your ability to drive teams and processes toward achieving business goals.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, guide, and develop a diverse team of sales operations professionals.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or other related field with 15 years of account management/customer service experience.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Management experience required.
- Experience in optimizing sales operations processes for efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with business objectives.
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to inform strategic decisions and continuously improve sales operations processes.
- Solid project management skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
