Job Title: Director, National Accounts

As we continue to expand our presence in the market, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as the Director of National Accounts.
The Director, National Accounts will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategic initiatives to drive sales and strengthen relationships with key national on-premise and off-premise accounts. This leadership position requires a dynamic individual with a proven track record in the spirits industry, particularly within the on-premise segment, while also having valuable experience in the off-premise market.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and market share growth within national on-premise and off-premise accounts.
- Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key national accounts, understanding their business objectives, and ensuring our products align with their needs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and supply chain, to ensure cohesive and effective execution of national account strategies.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify new opportunities and potential challenges.
- Negotiation: Lead negotiations with key accounts to secure favorable terms and agreements, while ensuring mutual benefit for both parties.
- Forecasting: Collaborate with demand planning and sales operations teams to accurately forecast product demand and manage inventory levels.
- Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of national account strategies and initiatives.
- Training and Development: Provide guidance and support to the sales team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in national accounts management within the spirits industry.
- Strong background in on-premise sales with a proven ability to navigate the dynamics of the off-premise market.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts.
- Ability to analyze market data and trends to inform decision-making.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
