Summary
The purpose of this position is to develop the skills and knowledge to become a successful District Manager within KUS's (Kia America, Inc.) structure. At the direction of the Regional Sales Operations Manager, support all regional sales positions - Distribution, Dealer Development, and Marketing. Supports regional sales operations to assure KUS sales policies and procedure are understood and implemented by the dealer body. Assist Regional Director with support for administrative tasks and service as liaison to other both inside and outside the department and/or company. Act as the “voice of the Region” being the liaison between KUS groups, i.e., Facilities, Finance, Marketing, Sales Ops, HR, regional team members, Autoever, and building management. Manage administrative tasks and participate in the development and implementation of office administrative brand standards.
Major Responsibilities
1st Priority - 30%
Draft correspondence, reports, presentations, and schedules for VP/Regional Director including providing administrative support for Staff Managers and the field staff. Coordinate ad hoc programs, projects and assignments as determined and requested by Regional Operations Manage.
2nd Priority - 25%
Support all regional sales positions by assisting each department (Distribution, Dealer Development, and Marketing) with administrative duties. Limited travel with District Sales Managers to assist with their job responsibilities to help achieve targets, and complete tasks by given deadlines. Update database of dealership addresses, and email addresses needed for office communications.
3rd Priority - 15%
Coordinate all meetings and travel for Regional Director and meeting logistics for DMG (Dealer Marketing Group) and other Dealer meetings. Manage office billings, accounts and budgets. Act as liaison for IT to ensure proper office equipment is working. Coordinate all new hire processes with HR and hiring manager. Maintain all employee and dealer lists for accuracy.
4th Priority - 20%
Carry out miscellaneous programs, special projects and assignments as determined and requested by Regional Operations Manager. Assist other departments as needed with reports and mailings to ensure achievement of regional goals are met. Create and initiate correspondence and memoranda. Serve as a liaison to others, both within and outside the department and/or company. Pro-actively manage multiple calendars (marketing, sales, regional, etc.) and take action to resolve conflict or improve efficiencies.
5th Priority - 10%
Support all regional sales positions – Distribution, Dealer Development, and Marketing. Coordinate New Hire process with HR team and Managers. Prepare, review and maintain the regional budget. Handle other administrative tasks and reporting as needed.
Education/Certification
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
Overall Experience
- 0-3 years’ work or internship experience preferred- Analyst assignment
Directly Related Experience
- Knowledge of automotive manufacturers and/or distributors and their relationship with their dealers is a plus for Analyst assignment.
Position Requirements
- Occasional travel may be required domestically
- May need to work additional hours outside of normal business hours as required by the job, including weekends or holidays

- Ability to relocate to a new location if requested by company

Pay Range
$52,297.00 - $70,060
Pay will be based on several variables that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, etc.
