As a Revenue Operations Consultant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of revenue-related processes within the organization. Your responsibilities will encompass maintaining revenue trackers, calculating key metrics, reconciling data, collaborating with various teams, and providing actionable insights to support revenue growth. You will be a key player in optimizing revenue operations, ensuring data integrity, and owning commission-related matters.
· Revenue Pipeline Management and Investor Reporting Coordination: Track and update pipeline data for New Sales, Upsell, Cross-Sell, Renewals, and other revenue-related metrics to provide visibility into the sales and revenue pipeline. Additionally, ensure the timely submission of investor reporting MIS and address ad hoc reporting queries from investors under the guidance of the finance team
· Business Planning and Performance Management: Develop and monitor the annual revenue business plan, track monthly performance against the plan, and manage key metrics like Annual Contract Value (ACV), Revenue Forecasting, Region Net Revenue Retention (NRR), and Product NRR to inform data-driven decision-making
· Data Reconciliation: Reconcile data between contracts, Earned Value (EV), P&L by services/product, billing, and revenue to ensure data accuracy and consistency
· Legal, Pricing and Collaboration: Oversee the legal and pricing desks, ensuring compliance and strategic pricing optimization for sustained business growth. Collaborate with Account Executives (AEs), Customer Success Managers (CSMs), Pre-Sales, and other teams involved in opportunity management to ensure accurate and timely data entry, fostering cross-functional cooperation
· Commission Management: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of commission plans, calculate commission splits, and ensure fairness and accuracy. Act as the primary point of contact for handling disputes and clarifications related to commission allocations.
· Reporting and Insights: Generate various reports related to revenue operations, sales performance, and key metrics to provide actionable insights to leadership, supporting strategic decision-making.
· MBA or an advanced degree preferred in Finance.
· Preference will be given to candidates with up to 6 years of previous experience in a Revenue Operations role, ideally within a Private Equity firm or B2B SaaS company, showcasing a strong grasp of revenue processes and commission structures
· Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining data integrity
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional business stakeholders across geographies is a key requirement
· Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment
· Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and revenue-related software and tools
