Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Sales Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our sales processes, driving efficiency, and supporting the sales team in achieving their targets. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate clearly in collaboration with cross-functional teams in Marketing, Finance, and other departments as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Process Optimization:

  • Analyze and evaluate existing sales processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement streamlined and efficient sales workflows to enhance productivity and speed up sales cycle. This includes optimization and automation of overall workflows, sales activities, and lead generation.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership and other departments to ensure alignment between sales strategies and operational processes.


Data Analysis And Reporting

  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sales strategies.
  • Generate regular reports on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Utilize data analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges.


Sales Technology Management

  • Oversee the implementation and utilization of sales technologies, such as CRM system and Microsoft 365 to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with IT and other relevant teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Provide training and support to the sales team on the effective use of sales tools.
  • Manage the allocation of accounts and sales territories to optimize sales coverage and maximize revenue potential.


Sales Forecasting

  • Work closely with the sales and finance teams to develop accurate sales forecasts.
  • Analyze historical sales data to identify patterns and make informed predictions for future sales performance.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on sales projections and deviations.


Operations/Product Delivery And Finance

  • Collaborate and coordinate with these departments critical in the sales life cycle process.


Sales Team Support

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand their needs and challenges.
  • Develop and implement sales enablement tools, sales process automation, and resources to support the sales team in achieving targets.
  • Provide training and ongoing support for sales processes and tools.
  • Update CRM tool with data from external sales members (sales reps / distributors)
  • Manage the customer contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely renewals.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 2+ years experience in sales operations
  • Proven experience in sales operations or a related role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office 365, and other sales technologies.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on process improvement.
  • Can do attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.


Additional Information

Pay range estimate $100,000 to $120,000 Canadian currency + Bonus + Equity depending on experience.
