A truly disruptive, technology-focused, and high-growth PE-backed scale-up business to the "Professional Services Sector" is looking for its first high-growth Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) OR Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) or Commercial Director in their business to drive momentum and revenue across their professional services marketplace model to key target audiences.
Fuelled by recent significant PE funding this is an ambitious unique business with big growth and expansion plans with a real “first mover” advantage to an industry ripe for this disruption. As they continue to grow, this Professional Services Scale-up is seeking someone special to lead their Commercial Strategy and drive revenue in this dynamic sector.
The CCO/CRO/Commercial Directors responsibilities will include :
- Full Commercial and strategic Leadership across all parts of this scale-up business
Develop and execute the commercial strategy aligned with the overall business objectives
Lead the sales and business development function to penetrate new markets and
expand existing ones.
Collaborate with product and marketing teams to enhance current offerings and identify opportunities for new
Ensure that all commercial activities adhere to legal and regulatory frameworks.
Client Relationship Management:
Responsibility for full Revenue Optimization across the business
Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing commercial team and foster a culture of collaboration,
innovation, and excellence.
-A proven track record of revenue and commercial growth within a "Scale-up Business" is essential.
-Experience in a similar commercial leadership role within the Professional Services or Legal or Financial Services
- An extensive background in B2B Sales
-Experience working across all areas of a business (e.g- marketing, product etc) driving commercial strategy across
different business lines
-Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to operate with senior stakeholders across their customer base, investors, the board and the wider executive team.
This is a fantastic new CRO/CCO/Commercial Director role to turbocharge the next stage of growth for this recent PE-backed Professional Services business. Senior base salary and meaningful Equity is on offer for the right candidate.
The candidate will be able to work home-based and ideally will be based in the South East, South West, or London area in the UK with frequent meetings with teams, the board, and customers when required.
