About The Role
At Nok, the Sales Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting our sales team, primarily the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), from qualification and discovery all the way to closing. You will take part in most external sales meetings and ensure timely follow-ups by assembling, organizing, and preparing relevant materials. You will keep our CRM up to date and work cross-functionally to coordinate sales-related activities. You will report directly to the CCO.What You'll Do
- Sales Administration: Manage a range of administrative tasks including calendar management, client follow-ups, travel coordination, and the publication of weekly internal sales reports. This role is pivotal in maintaining comprehensive and accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in our CRM system, ensuring all data is up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Internal Sales Process Execution: Oversee and streamline the internal sales process by coordinating effectively with various departments such as operations, commercial, and product teams. This includes ensuring timely execution and adherence to timelines for cross-functional tasks critical to sales operations.
- Client Engagement and Follow-Up: Actively manage post-meeting follow-ups and ongoing communications during deal negotiation phases to maintain client engagement, build relationships, and drive sales momentum.
- Market Research: Assist in developing and refining sales strategies by conducting market research and analyzing prospects' existing recommerce strategies. Prepare insightful reports to inform the sales team about current market trends, customer needs, and potential opportunities.
- Document and Data Management: Take charge of preparing, organizing, and managing essential sales-related documents, including time-studies, proposals, and other necessary collaterals.. Ensure all documentation aligns with company policies and client requirements, facilitating smooth sales operations.
- Organizational Proficiency: Adept at scheduling, planning, and ensuring that all moving parts within the sales process align and are executed effectively.
- Communication Excellence: Possess great verbal and written communication skills to ensure clear and constructive correspondence with both internal teams and clients.
- Technical Ability: Comfortable managing data and reporting along with skills in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint for presentations and Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Collaborative Spirit: Demonstrated ability to work seamlessly with different departments, coordinating cross-functional tasks and ensuring an integrated approach to sales process execution.
- Client-Oriented: Commitment to managing client engagements and interactions professionally and efficiently, with a focus on maintaining momentum throughout the sales funnel.
- Detail-Oriented: A keen eye for detail is essential, particularly in managing data, communications, and documentation with accuracy and thoroughness.
- Adaptability: Flexibility in responding to varying client needs and internal requirements, with an ability to adapt strategies and processes as needed.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a sales support or coordination role, ideally within a technology or e/recommerce environment. Experience in managing internal sales processes and cross-departmental coordination is highly desirable.
- Technical Proficiency: Competence in using CRM principles and Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
