The Director of Sales and Operations will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the sales and operational functions of our transportation and logistics business across the Colorado region. This leadership position requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in driving sales, managing operational efficiency, and fostering a high-performing team. This role is responsible for the entire business from sales to operational execution and P&L responsibility.

Your Role And Responsibilities

- Oversee day-to-day transportation and logistics operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and optimize supply chain management.
- Focus on maintaining a safe working environment and optimizing fleet performance.
Performance Analysis and Reporting
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
- Take P&L level accountability for sales growth and operational efficiency.
Minimum Education, Experience and Certification
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience in sales & operations and supply chain in the oil and gas distribution industry.
- Five (5) or more years of leadership/management experience.
- Strong understanding of DOT compliance and FMCSA safety compliance required
- Strong technical ability with respect to operations and the management of logistics
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in business, operations, or supply chain preferred.
- Must possess effective written and oral communication skills
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving techniques and skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Willing to travel up to 25% of the time.
