What You'll Do
As a Sales Operations Support Specialist at Avalara, you will play a vital role in supporting our sales teams in the quoting process, deal reviews and data governance. This roles with have a wide breadth responsibility so we are looking for detailed oriented candidates who are eager to learn and enjoy problem solving.
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred.
2 - 4 years experience working in SFDC and Excel; Specific experience with CPQ required.
Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic understanding of sales processes and business operations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of sales operations.

As a Sales Operations Support Specialist at Avalara, you will play a vital role in supporting our sales teams in the quoting process, deal reviews and data governance. This roles with have a wide breadth responsibility so we are looking for detailed oriented candidates who are eager to learn and enjoy problem solving.
- Collaborating with sales teams to support quote generation in Salesforce CPQ, including pricing and product details.
- Provide SFDC data support by working tickets to maintain data cleanliness across accounts, contacts, leads, opportunities and quotes.
- Engaging in data entry and analysis within Salesforce, inputting essential information and generating reports to highlight trends and improvement opportunities.
- Report on behaviors and issues causing duplication or system gaps to analyze possible fixes.
- Identifying and advocating for process improvements within to streamline sales operations, actively participating in projects aimed at enhancing the efficiency of our sales workflow.
