The Director of Sales Operations plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing the sales processes within an organization.Job Overview:
As the Director of Sales Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the efficiency of the sales team. Work cross-functionally between the Sales, Marketing and Finance teams to develop process and reporting that allows the business to monitor order performance, price gain, funnel health and S&OP forecasting.
This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, analytical skills, and leadership abilities. There is currently one direct report for this role.Key Performance Measures

- Sales Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to deal closure, to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Pricing: Oversee pricing analyst focused on price performance and analysis and support the development of product profitability analysis to enable business wide OMX goals.
- Sales Strategy Development: Work closely with the sales leadership team to develop and implement sales strategies that align with the overall business objectives.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analytics to generate insights, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular reports to support decision-making.
- Forecasting and Budgeting: Collaborate with finance and sales teams to create accurate sales forecasts and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Technology Integration: Identify and implement sales technologies and tools to enhance productivity and streamline operations. Support 2024 goal of Cawood LIMS and IFS implementations.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, finance, and other departments to ensure alignment and cohesion across the organization.
- Training and Development: Develop training programs to enhance the skills of the sales team and ensure they are well-equipped to meet their targets.
- Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance metrics to evaluate the success of sales initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure that sales operations comply with relevant regulations and internal policies.

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales operations or a related role, with a track record of success.
