New York | Temp - Sales Operations Associate (Hybrid)

Overview

Marc Jacobs International, powered by the creative genius of Marc Jacobs, seeks a Temp – Sales Operations Associate to join the Planning, Allocation and Operations teams based in its New York City (SoHo) headquarters. Marc Jacobs International is part of the Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy (LVMH) fashion division and operates in the wholesale and direct to consumer retail markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operations

• Manage customer order portfolio in Microsoft AX (data entry, order confirmations, cancelations, returns, order adjustments, etc)
• Respond to / resolve inquiries and issues in a timely manner with the proper escalation chain where needed
• Provide best in class B2B sales operations to Marc Jacobs Wholesale accounts
  
  

Sales & Distribution

• Be the interface between Sales, Inventory Planning, Accounts Receivable and Logistics to optimize deliveries and reach monthly invoicing targets
• Closely monitor Open Order Report to ensure monthly orders are received and processed within assigned ship windows
• Work closely with Wholesale Sales team and respective account base to communicate any adjustment requests as needed (Extension requests, order updates, etc)
  
  

Reporting

• Own variety of reports to assist with the management of our order portfolio (Shipping recaps, cancel risk, ETA’s, etc)
• Provide ad-hoc reports and statistics (stock availability, deliveries, pricing) to the Sales Team / Wholesale partners as needed
  
  

Business Planning

• Provide weekly / monthly consolidated Wholesale sell-in (shipping) comments to MJ Sales Team.
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B Sales Operations or Logistics
• Understanding of warehouses systems, credit control, logistics
• Customer- and result-oriented
• Team player attitude, good communication skills
• Eager to learn
• Excellent coordination and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Capacity to multi-task & work under pressure / shifting priorities
• Excellent working knowledge of Office (Excel, Power point)
• Previous working experience with ERPs (AX, SAP)
• Keen interest in luxury and fashion
• Strong analytical skills
  
  

SALARY & BENEFITS/WHAT WE OFFER:

The compensation for this position ranges from $28- $32 (hourly). The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
