Position Overview

Due to company growth, Insulet International is looking to hire a Sales Operations Analyst based at

our London headquarters, reporting directly to Director of Global Demand Planning.

We are looking for an insights-focused professional, who is a self-starter, with a strong ability to

collaborate with different teams within the business and can work independently when required.

They will have a curious mind-set, leading to creative, yet practical solutions to problems. The ideal

candidate must possess both strong analytical and communication skills. Their ability to calibrate

quality standards and depth of analysis with flexibility and commercial pragmatism is critical.

As a Sales Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for the accurate forecasting of finished goods

for European markets across the full Omnipod portfolio – responsibilities will include:

  • Generate accurate and timely demand forecasts using attribute-based forecasting methods.
  • Prepare data and material for monthly demand review meetings with Sales & Marketing

teams to establish consensus demand plans.

  • Develop 24-month rolling forecasts utilizing baseline corporate financial plans and enrich

through challenge and validation of market intelligence received from business stakeholders

and available sales performance trends.

  • Develop custom demand plans to service specialised supply chain scenario planning,

including, but not limited to New Product Introduction (NPI), End-of-Life (EOL),

Geographical Expansion, and Product Revision Cut-Over.

  • Utilise data to develop demand planning analytics package to measure process metrics &

KPIs, including but not limited to forecast accuracy, time-based demand volume shifts, ontime submission and inside lead-time submissions. Provide support with any queries on

possible data anomalies.

  • Provide insights-led narrative to Supply Chain in preparation for the Executive S&OP

meeting, including, but not limited to forecast assumptions, relevant market dynamics,

confidence level and recent KPI performance.

  • Actively collaborate with Supply Planning group to ensure optimal inventory levels and

minimise backorders. Provide input to the Supply Planning team in developing inventory

strategies on existing items, new products, and product discontinuations.

  • Closely coordinate and communicate key demand changes to Supply Planning on an off-cycle

basis, where exceptional and unexpected events drive significant forecast deltas.

What We Need From You

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree – or equivalent
  • Demand planning experience is preferred, but not essential
  • 2-3 years of strong analytical and problem-solving experience working with commercial

models

  • Fluent in manipulating, analysing & interpreting large volume data sets to create demand

forecasts

  • Advanced Excel (Advanced Formulas, Modelling, Pivot Tables & Dashboards)
  • Experience with Enterprise Business applications - SAP & Salesforce is preferred
  • Experience with PowerBI
  • Experience producing quantitative analysis & data visualisation to tell the story behind the

numbers

  • Ability to understand, create and deliver top-quality, audience-appropriate communication
  • Ability to operate well in a fast-paced, high-growth and deadline-driven environment
  • Focused and capable of delivering continuous process improvement
  • Close attention to quality and detail
  • Experience in Business Analysis, Process Improvement / Project Management is

advantageous

  • European language skills advantageous
