As the Sales Onboarding Lead- AMER, Field Readiness, you will be responsible for designing the global sales onboarding program and leading the global sales boot camp and AMER field sales boot camp to ensure the success of our sales teams. Your role will involve creating and implementing a comprehensive onboarding strategy that equips our sales representatives with the knowledge, skills, and tools they need to effectively engage with prospects, close deals, and drive revenue growth. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales Leaders, Sales Operations, People Operations, Product and Marketing, to align onboarding initiatives with business objectives.

This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. What You’ll Achieve

Program Strategy and Design

  • Develop a strategic and structured initial sales and field sales onboarding program that aligns with the company's sales goals and strategies.
  • Design comprehensive onboarding pathways, content, and resources tailored to different sales roles and experience levels
  • Iterate and improve the program as the needs of the business evolve..

Content Creation and Development

  • Create engaging and effective onboarding materials, including training modules, playbooks, sales collateral, facilitator guides and product knowledge resources.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of training content.

Training Delivery

  • Lead onboarding sessions, workshops, and enablement webinars to provide sales teams with the skills and knowledge required to succeed.
  • Incorporate interactive and hands-on learning approaches to enhance engagement and retention.

Sales Process and Tools

  • Educate sales representatives on the company's sales processes, methodologies, and tools.
  • Ensure sales teams are proficient in using sales enablement technologies, CRM systems, and other relevant tools.

Assessment and Improvement

  • Establish performance metrics and assessment methods to measure the effectiveness of the onboarding program.
  • Continuously gather feedback from sales teams and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement.

Collaboration and Alignment

  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership to align onboarding initiatives with sales targets and strategies.
  • Work closely with Sales Operations and Marketing to ensure consistent messaging and alignment between sales and marketing efforts.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the sales organization.

About You

  • 3-5+ years of experience in sales enablement, onboarding, or related roles within the B2B SaaS industry.
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, methodologies, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Experience in creating effective sales training content, including presentations, playbooks, and e-learning modules.
  • Skilled in managing complex projects, coordinating resources, and meeting deadlines.
  • Comfortable using data to analyze onboarding program effectiveness and make data-driven improvements.
  • Ability to adapt onboarding strategies to align with changing market conditions and company goals.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, sales enablement platforms, and other relevant sales technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Sales) or equivalent work experience.

We believe that compensation should be reflective of the value you create relative to the market value of your role. To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.

For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $152,000 - $194,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.

In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
