Join Our Team as Vice President of Sales & Marketing

Are you a seasoned professional with a proven track record in the hospitality industry and exceptional leadership skills? If so, we are looking for a Vice President of Sales & Marketing to lead a dynamic team and oversee the revenue strategies for a portfolio of Radiate Hospitality properties in Northern California and Oregon.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and execute sales and marketing plans in alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities and threats and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Ensure sales and marketing strategies integrate seamlessly into the business plans to support organizational growth.

Brand Management

  • Oversee the branding and positioning of each hotel within the portfolio.
  • Maintain brand consistency and adherence to brand standards across all marketing materials.

Sales Leadership

  • Provide guidance and leadership to sales teams at each property to achieve and surpass sales targets.
  • Collaborate with property Directors of Sales to offer necessary support, resources, and guidance for their success.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and partners to drive group and corporate bookings.
  • Monitor Minimum Acceptable Rates (MAR) trends to optimize pricing and sales strategies.

Financial Management

  • Manage the Profit and Loss (P&L) performance for the sales and marketing department to meet financial targets.
  • Work with the Finance teams to create and manage budgets, forecasting revenue and expenses.
  • Analyze Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR) index and implement strategies to enhance overall hotel revenue.

Marketing Campaigns

  • Plan and execute innovative marketing campaigns targeting diverse customer segments.
  • Utilize digital marketing, social media, and other channels to boost brand visibility.

Revenue Optimization

  • Collaborate with Revenue Management teams to optimize pricing strategies and revenue.
  • Identify and implement revenue-generating initiatives across all properties.

Collaboration

  • Partner with General Managers and other department heads to ensure alignment between sales/marketing strategies and operational goals.
  • Foster a collaborative and communicative culture across the hotel portfolio.

The Model Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience in senior/Regional/VP Sales and Marketing roles within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of the boutique hotel and major brand segments.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate strategies into actionable plans.
  • Creative and innovative thinker.
  • Expertise with tools like TravelClick Agency360 and Demand360, Opera, Knowland, STR reports, Delphi FDC, Profit Sage/Sword; Brand systems knowledge preferred.
