Conviva is seeking a driven Deal Desk Manager to join our high-impact, high-performing Sales Operations team. This individual will provide critical operational support to the global sales organization and be an integral link between the Sales organization and other corporate support functions such as Finance, Legal, Solution Consulting, Marketing, Product, and Customer Support teams. The Deal Desk Manager will be our liaison to Product for pricing strategy, to Sales for day-to-day operations and deal pricing, and our internal team champion for pricing best practices and systems optimization. This will be an individual contributor position with an opportunity to build and lead our Deal Desk function. What Success Will Look Like

  • Manage daily Deals Desk operations through automation and standardization, scale the deal flow process for optimal deal velocity, and structure deals for new and existing business models.
  • Become fully proficient with Conviva product packaging and pricing.
  • Serve as the owner and subject matter expert on standard and non-standard deal constructs, pricing, operations, and revenue policies.
  • Shepherd deals through the sales cycle and internal approvals process.
  • Ensure deals are vetted and approved with a sense of urgency.
  • Find opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in deal management.
  • Analyze historical data to track del performance, pricing velocity, and areas for maximizing revenue.
  • Based on the evolution of our pricing strategy, take ownership of the processes, customizations, and enhancements of our CPQ platform.
  • Supports Comp plan development and operations.
  • Support other special business projects: structure business problems, evaluate options, implement actionable recommendations, and track success.
  • Assisted with improving/refining existing sales operations policies and procedures.

Who You Are & What You've Done

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in Pricing, Deal Desk, Sales Operations, and/or Analytics at a SaaS high-growth company.
  • Self-motivated individual with sound business/risk judgment.
  • An analytical mindset and attention to detail are imperative.
  • Ability to create structure in ambiguous situations, high degree of flexibility, follow-through, and willingness to implement ideas from others.
  • Proven ability to take initiative, multi-task, and work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders under tight deadlines.
  • Deep experience with Salesforce and CPQ operations with knowledge of the entire spectrum, including process, data, and solutions.
  • Strong communication skills; effective in project management and securing cross-functional alignment.
  • Guru in Excel

This is an on-site hybrid position based in Conviva’s Foster City, California, office. It requires being in the office three days a week.

The expected salary range for this full-time position is $150,000 - $175,000 + equity + benefits. Compensation is determined by numerous factors such as qualifications, experience, relevant education or training, and work location.
