Responsible for developing, overseeing, and administering the firm's sales forecasting, financial modeling, sales processes, and sales goals. Uses knowledge of company products, services, support, and technology to set and optimize the achievement of the firm's sales goals. Specializes in budgeting, expense variance analysis, price structure evaluation, planning, and expense management. Incorporates client schedules and operational changes into revenue forecasts and revenue timelines. Oversees sales force automation systems, costing models, and margin management tools. May develop sales quote tools. If the incumbent is responsible for a Group/Region match to the Head of Sales Operations and selects Group for Executive Scope of Responsibility, if the incumbent is responsible for a Division/Country match to the Head of Sales Operations and selects Division for Executive Scope of Responsibility.

This will support the USA region as the lead for the Deal Desk - this includes Bid, Trial and PO Approval process as well as managing the clean order process for USA.


Key Responsibilities


Deal Desk lead for the USA region - position responsible for Bid, Trial and PO Approvals, Financial reviews of key deals, cash flow analysis, etc. Will work with the functional approvals to ensure they have the information they need to approve a proposal using Microsoft Dynamics as our CRM. This includes presentations to our top executives on the financial metrics of approvals.


Job Requirements


Strong presentation skills, both written and verbal to scope out key requirements for our bid approvals and work with key approvers to ensure they have the information they need to approve or decline bids.


The Position must have strong computer modeling skills using Excel and PowerPoint and will become an expert in Microsoft Dynamics to help functional approvals in your region resolve issues. The position needs to be able to push back on margin deals so issues can be resolved before bid approval, not just be a funnel to the approvals.
