Your Career

The Sr. Revenue Manager will lead and drive the success of the Bangalore revenue team. The candidate possesses strong organizational, communication and management skills. The candidate will be self-motivated with the ability to provide solutions for issues identified. The successful candidate is a competent individual with integrity, accountability, strong interpersonal skills, and a team player. The position requires a “hands-on” person who is flexible, hard-working and able to work well under pressure.

Your Impact

  • Mentor, train and develop a growing Revenue Accounting Operations Team in Bangalore with 15+ team members currently
  • Manage and lead the Bangalore team’s revenue close and reporting processes, including the review of JEs, reconciliations, and other various reporting deliverables
  • Drive operational excellence by identifying, proposing, and leading process improvements to successful completion
  • Lead and assist with other special projects as needed
  • Develop strong cross-functional relationships with key business partners including AR, Technical Revenue, Finance, IT, Operations, etc.

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • BA or BS in finance/accounting or equivalent military experience required
  • CPA/CA certification
  • 10+ years of progressively responsible experience at either a Big 4 public accounting firm or a global, publicly traded organization with a minimum of 3 years in a revenue role in a high-tech organization
  • 3 years of Big 4 public accounting experience preferred
  • Excellent technical and operational knowledge of ASC 606
  • Strong analytical and problem resolution skills, including the ability to research accounting literature and simplify complex situations
  • Comprehensive understanding of quote to cash process
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Energy and desire to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced organization
  • Strong ability to maintain relationships with business partners
  • Ability to diplomatically challenge the status quo
  • Strong project management, analytical and organizational skills
  • Experience with SAP (preferred) or Oracle ERP
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Revenue experience in a SaaS company and/or hardware company is a plus
