The salary for this position is between $95,000-$120,000, depending on location, relevant skills, and years of experience.

This position does require travel to and from our existing markets which are located in Cleveland OH, St Louis, MO and Kansas City KS.

Position Overview - VP of Sales

This position is responsible for leading the growth and expansion of a specific operating portfolio. The CRO performs work with broad managerial and strategic responsibilities in planning, organizing, directing, and advancing the culture of sales across all locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute the company's business development strategies to drive growth, expansion, and market penetration. This includes identifying new business opportunities, evaluating potential partnerships and formulating long-term plans.
  2. Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitor analysis, and customer needs. Utilize this information to inform business development strategies and make data-driven decisions.
  3. Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales strategies, set revenue targets, and drive business growth. Provide guidance and support to sales teams in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with key clients, customers, and partners. Act as a representative of the company and develop strong professional networks to enhance business development opportunities.
  5. Lead and manage a team of business development professionals. Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to the team members, set performance goals, and monitor their progress.
  6. Evaluate the financial feasibility and viability of potential business opportunities. Conduct financial analysis, including cost-benefit analysis, revenue projections, and risk assessments to inform decision-making.
  7. Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, including marketing, product development, operations, and finance, to align business development strategies with overall company goals and objectives.
  8. Enthusiastically embrace and act as a change agent to adopt new initiatives within the network
  9. Participate in leading the operational ecosystem with a focus on driving accountability, shaping strategies, supporting network-wide growth and development, and Operating Company alignment.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business or other related field, or equivalent experience
  2. Extensive experience in business development, sales, or strategic planning is essential.
  3. Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills are crucial for this role. The ability to identify market opportunities, analyze data, and make informed decisions is essential.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary to effectively negotiate, present ideas, and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  5. Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  6. A deep understanding of business dynamics, market trends, and industry landscapes. Knowledge of financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
  7. Strong interpersonal and networking skills to establish and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and industry professionals.
  8. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
  9. Valid Driver's License
  10. Ability to think critically, problem solve effectively and recommend strategically about sales and new business development
  11. Demonstrated ability to direct and develop, review and implement strategic plans and initiatives for the sales program.
  12. Demonstrated ability to leverage technology to understand trends and reach dispersed and diverse employee groups.
  13. Ability to listen carefully, communicate effectively both in writing and verbally, and establish strong and effective working relationships with multiple teams servicing multiple industries, a broad variety of clients, and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Prior experience working in the staffing industry.
  2. Prior experience managing employees or customers in multiple states.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Frequently operates a computer for extended periods of time.
  2. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
  3. Frequently communicates with others over the phone, video and in person; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
