About the Role

As the Director of Revenue Operations at Sanity, you will architect and execute revenue strategies, enhancing our sales funnel efficiency and driving growth. This pivotal role involves leading advanced process integration, spearheading data-driven decision-making, and cultivating strategic partnerships across functions to align our market approach and amplify revenue outcomes. You will serve as a key strategic advisor to executive leadership, ensuring the optimization of operational excellence, sales performance, and revenue predictability.

What you will be doing

  • Architect and spearhead the execution of revenue operations strategies to optimize the sales funnel and drive growth.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to and guide executive management on all aspects of our revenue motion and operations, including market analysis, sales strategy, and revenue risk management.
  • Own, evaluate, design, and implement the processes, programs, and systems to ensure seamless integration and alignment across tools and teams.
  • Develop and maintain scalable processes for lead generation and database management, aligning with the organization's growth objectives.
  • Own the analytical tracking of lead and sales funnels, as well as operational metrics, to extract actionable insights for optimizing funnel efficacy.
  • Own and direct the analysis of marketing and sales performance, pinpointing trends to inform strategic improvements.
  • Formulate and execute on strategies for territory planning and sales compensation, aligning sales with market potential while incentivizing peak performance, thereby maximizing revenue expansion.
  • Design and manage sales forecasting processes for accuracy and predictability in revenue forecasts.
  • Develop and implement strategies for territory planning, team productivity and capacity, as well as sales compensation to align sales efforts with market opportunities, ensuring efficient coverage and maximizing revenue growth.
  • Own and direct collaboration with Business Intelligence to enhance analysis and automate reporting.
  • Lead and enhance cross-functional collaboration among sales, marketing, customer success, and finance teams, ensuring a cohesive approach to customer lifecycle management.
  • Ensure the integrity and synergy of all revenue-related activities and customer engagement processes across Sanity.
  • Strategically partner with Go-to-Market teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and the operational excellence of day-to-day activities, aligning with overarching business goals.

This may be you

  • A minimum of 10+ years of revenue operations and system architecture experience within a Go-to-Market function, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Exceptional business communication and leadership abilities and proven experience in inspiring and steering a cross-functional collaboration.
  • Capable of extracting a narrative from big data analysis and formulating a hypothesis and recommendation.
  • Proven ability to analyze large datasets through Looker and Salesforce reporting that enables executives to make strategic decisions based on findings.
  • Diverse skillset spanning sales and marketing operations, reporting and analysis, sales tech and martech stacks, and sales enablement.
  • Salesforce certified Advanced Administrator highly preferred.
  • Strong Communication and presentation skills.
  • Passionate about mentoring and developing others through servant leadership.
  • Passionate about helping customers achieve their business goals. Exceptional communicator, both written and verbal, with high attention to detail.
  • Flexible and adaptive to evolving business needs and processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
