Who We Want

We are looking for a dynamic VP, Sales Management and Enablement who will develop and lead sales professionals, as well as enablement efforts to support the Business Development team. This position will manage and develop a sales team accountable for supporting a regional sales model, while partnering closely with the Marketing team on lead generation, event creation, and marketing materials. The VP, Sales Management and Enablement will enhance the sales process to drive revenue growth and deal closure through cohesive team leadership as well as connecting enablement strategies into action. They will work alongside the sales operations team to ensure process efficiencies for the Business Development team and prospective clients.

What To Expect

  • Manage and develop several AVP, Business Development stakeholders, and ensure consistent exposure, learning, and training for these roles to support Carson’s regional sales model.
  • Manage the daily activities of the internal sales team including hiring, process and system
  • Work closely with the National Sales Director to understand sales objectives and implement effective sales enablement strategies.
  • Optimize the success of the organization's sales team by managing sales goals, projections, and processes.
  • Act as the liaison with marketing related to sales enablement to curate sales collateral, presentations, and other materials to support the sales team and process.
  • Work closely with the Advisor and Digital marketing teams to ensure advisor marketing campaigns and prospect events align with sales objectives.
  • Partner with the marketing team to gather data and metrics on campaign success and optimization.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to streamline and enhance the sales process and improve overall efficiency.
  • Partner with the learning and development team to create sales training content that enhances the sales team knowledge of products.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of current sales tools and explore new technologies to improve sales productivity.
  • Work with the technology team on integration of current and future sales tools.
  • Monitor key performance indicators to assess sales enablement effectiveness.
  • Provide sales teams with data insights and recommendations to enable pipeline feeding, enhance prospect engagement, and accelerate deal process.
  • Work with SalesForce and other marketing and lead generation systems to ensure the highest quality lead generation, tracking, scoring, and attribution at all stages of the funnel.
  • Build relationships with current partners
  • Cultivate, maintain and grow relationships with defined custodian partners.
  • Attend industry events, conferences and other events.
  • Along with National Sales Director and Head of Advisor Marketing, manage top of funnel lead generation pertaining to strategy and implementation
  • In partnership with marketing, lead efforts regarding conference selection, staffing, pre-conference marketing, and post-conference conversion of leads to opportunities
  • Other projects as assigned pertaining to revenue generating activities

What You Need

  • 7+ years of experience leading a successful sales and enablement program
  • Experience as a sales team manager, focused on developing others
  • Experience in the financial services/wealth management industry
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM tool and the reporting and dashboard functionalities
  • Experience developing a sales enablement program
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leaders and other business units to implement sales enablement strategies
  • An analytical mindset that can gather data and present actionable recommendations
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
