Our flagship office is in Sydney, Australia, but we've made our way from down under, to a campus in Austin, Texas which is now home to our US operations.

What You’d Be Doing In This Role

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

The Channel Sales Operations Analyst will be a member of the Sales Strategy & Operations team in support of Canva’s continued growth. Sales Strategy & Operations sits within the Sales & Success function that is responsible for driving revenue from F500 as well as mid-market and SMB companies.

In this role, you will build and own the forecast and revenue cadence (including full funnel metrics). You will analyze monthly business results and own the Sales/ Success component of the monthly business review. You will ensure forecast accuracy within sales, and partner with finance to provide inputs during financial planning.

At The Moment, This Role Is Focused On

  • Partner with leadership to define and execute Channel strategy, policies, processes and business system requirements.
  • Support our Sales team for Public Sector, K-12 and Govt business.
  • Work with Channel Partners, Sales Operations, Finance, and other go-to-market teams to drive the forecasting and planning process for the Channel team.
  • Provide visibility into the health of the business and timely performance tracking through dashboards and business reviews.
  • Develop and own deal registration process for all channel partners.
  • Drive the end-to-end process to analyze large and complex sales performance data to identify patterns, uncover opportunities and guide strategic recommendations related to how we can optimize revenue.
  • Develop and maintain regular reports and dashboards, with support from the business intelligence team, to track KPIs and provide visibility into sales performance at different levels (individual, team, region, etc.).
  • Drive operational efficiency and productivity with continuous tools and process improvements.
  • Collect, consolidate, and analyze sales data from various sources. Use data analysis techniques to identify market trends, patterns, and insights that can drive sales performance improvement.
  • Document ROEs, SOPs and initiatives, and ensure relevant processes and documents are updated in internal systems.
  • Provide overall support and departmental coordination for Channel team inquiries, ad-hoc requests and projects.


You're probably a match if

  • You have 3+ years in channel, sales or revenue operations; preferably with SaaS and partner/affiliate experience.
  • You have a Bachelors in Engineering, Finance, Economics and/or Accounting or related subject area is required
  • You have advanced skills in MS Excel; Comfort with BI tools (Mode, Tableau, etc.), SQL knowledge preferred
  • You are a strong analytical thinker with an outcomes-oriented approach to sales and sales operations. Understanding of business fundamentals and experience with managing key metrics for sales success
  • You have the ability to think strategically, analyze, and interpret market and sales cycle information
  • You have exceptional project management and communication skills, intellectual curiosity, and strong attention to detail. Ability to communicate the right level of information to executives and cross-functional teams at the right cadence
  • You are a highly organized self-starter who enjoys driving business impact and operational efficiency
  • You are a collaborative team player who is effective partnering cross functionally, across multiple different time zones
  • You are comfortable working in a fast paced environment and dealing with ambiguity. Display professionalism and confidence in challenging situations. Flexible and open to changing priorities, and managing multiple tasks simultaneously within compressed timeframes.


About The Team

The Sales Strategy & Operations function supports Sales & Success in driving revenue in a scalable and sustainable way, through Incentive design and implementation, run the business reporting and analytics, sales tooling, sales process and enablement. This highly visible role is ideal for a motivated individual who leverages data driven analysis and creative thinking to solve problems. This team member will be expected to develop a deep understanding of Canva’s Sales & Success business drivers and build strong relationships with function, department, and executive leadership to create actionable analysis. In return, this role offers the right candidate the opportunity to help shape the next phase of Canva’s history.
