Position Summary:

The Factoring Sales Director will play a critical role on our sales management team and will have significant exposure to Truckstop's Executive and cross-functional leadership team. This role is responsible for driving performance for an industry leading Factoring sales dept that focuses on helping Carriers better manage their cash flow and be more successful. This leader will provide a clear vision and focus, build and deploy solid market penetration strategies, processes and tactics, and create a winning culture recognized for collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Hire, develop, train and retain a highly motivated inside sales team
  • Motivate and manage the Factoring sales team to achieve and surpass quota by, (a) assisting with and implementing the Sales organization structure build out plan, (b) prioritizing and maintaining the sales funnel, (c) developing and ensuring the team follows Truckstop's sales cadence and methodology and (d) forecasting accurate sales revenue
  • Acts as a key liaison between Sales, Revenue Leadership, Marketing, Training, Support, Finance and other internal stakeholders to ensure we are fostering and leveraging a collaborative environment
  • Lead in the creation/fine tuning of training program, call scripts, processes, service level agreements (SLA) and standard operating procedures (SOP)
  • Research marketplace and competitive positioning and develop a winning strategy to achieve market and revenue growth objectives
  • Develop and maintain clear and compelling key performance indicators (KPI), dashboards, and reporting to provide insight into the state of sales and direction for continuous improvement
  • Lead Factoring sales forecasting, planning, budgeting and reporting processes
  • Prepare and monitor sales commissions and ensures commission program effectively drives the appropriate behavior and outcome. Recommends program revisions as necessary
  • Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization's planning and execution efforts
  • Helps to identify, create, communicate and monitor sales campaigns
  • Key stakeholder of the sales side of Salesforce.com along with all other sales tools and align the tools to meet the sales team's needs. Also ensure customer relationship compliance and quality of usage
  • Relentlessly analyzes the business and proactively offers insight and recommendations to sales and Executive leadership
  • Leads segmentation, territory design, account assignments and goal development
  • Provides executive support (create decks, reports and participate in executive meetings)

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Seven or more years in a fast paced, complex sales and/or sales operations management role
  • Experience in Factoring, fintech, SaaS
  • Experience in or complex knowledge with underwriting regulations
  • Experience in building sales team(s) that consistently meet or achieved objectives
  • Experience with Salesforce.com, sales best practices, and other sales tools
  • Solid understanding of B2B and SaaS sales, as well as business fundamentals
  • Experience at structuring, interpreting, and presenting analysis and go-forward strategy

In an effort to provide greater transparency, we are sharing the base salary range for this position. The position is also eligible for commission based on meeting monthly targets. Final salary is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

$140,000—$148,000 USD

The above description covers the most significant duties performed but does not include other related occasional work that may be assigned or is completed by the employee.
