The Sales Operations team at EDB is looking for a Senior Deal Desk Manager (Order Management) to join us in India. In this role, you will be part of the global sales operations team,

What Your Impact Will Be

  • Focus on the “customer first” perspective.
  • Experience in the Deal Desk function at an enterprise SaaS company, consumption based company, or scaling B2B tech company
  • CPQ experience is highly desirable
  • Lead the implementation and configuration of Salesforce CPQ & CRM.
  • Configure and maintain Salesforce components, including products, pricing, quotes, contracts, accounts, and opportunities.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements and automation using Salesforce.
  • Ability to work with and protect confidential information when required.
  • Strong business acumen & knowledge of pricing and discounting policies. Ability to work in a collaborative manner that is cross-functional and global.
  • Deal desk and CPQ technology proficiency to drive process improvement and operational efficiencies.
  • Contract acumen - ability to review contracts and Statements of Work to identify new or questionable language, and/or unusual terms requiring legal support.
  • Ability to respond effectively to multiple conflicting priorities, continuously prioritize and reprioritise deliverables and to respond in a dynamic work environment.
  • Proficient with G-suites / MS Excel & Salesforce.com.
  • Should be familiar with Opportunity, Accounts, Contracts & Contacts objects in SFDC.
  • Understanding of SaaS / recurring revenue metrics is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent cognitive reasoning, and process development skills, strong business judgment and ability to work with minimal guidance.
  • Ability to work effectively in a sales team environment, build effective working relationships with key stakeholders, and work independently with limited supervision.
  • Comfortable in a matrix reporting structure and managing through change. Able to work with senior executives within and across company departments.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, customer-centric environment.

What Will You Bring

  • 8+ years of experience in implementing Salesforce CRM, CPQ and Billing for large-scale enterprise transformation projects.
  • 3+ full lifecycle Salesforce implementations in CRM, CPQ and Billing.
  • Hands-on experience in Salesforce implementation, customisation, and administration.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Certifications like, Salesforce CPQ Specialist are a plus.
