As the leader of the RevOps organization, the Vice President of Revenue Operations, Software is responsible for the performance, strategy, and alignment of revenue operations in the company. This position is responsible for driving revenue growth strategies, overseeing the operations of Marketing, Sales, Customer Success and Support departments, and ensuring that the interaction between those departments is aligned with the larger company-wide strategy dictated by the President, Tax.com and senior leadership across the company.

Duties and responsibilities, as they align to Ryan’s Key Results

People

  • Lead a world-class team of Sales Operations, Sales Enablement contributors
  • Set the sales development priorities and key selling strategies to achieve sales objectives
  • Provides directional leadership for a fast growing team
  • Lead the daily activities and quota performance management of team
  • Consistently meets/exceeds outline individual and team metrics (quarterly and annually)
  • Develop, document and administer global compensation plans and models that facilitate the scaling of the business
  • Develop and manage the department's budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Monitor costs and seek cost-saving opportunities.


Client

  • Developing a revenue operations program that becomes the competitive differentiator in our growth strategy
  • Architect the commercial data model, mapped to our buyer journey, that delivers key productivity metrics across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success & Support
  • Implement communication structure across those four departments to improve alignment and visibility
  • Determine and optimize global territory and account assignments, and make recommendations on the design of the Sales organization
  • Lead sales quota and compensation optimization initiatives to drive performance
  • Monitor and review the sales funnel on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
  • Drive pipeline, monthly business reviews and forecasts
  • Regularly present plans and reviews to the Executive Team
  • Build and lead a high-performing revenue operations and strategy team.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to team member.
  • Develop best-practices and standardization of sales processes leveraging efficiency and scalability.
  • Foster alignment of Sales team with overall corporate objectives and priorities
  • Work cross-functionally to resolve issues and facilitate the closing of business


Value

  • Recommend and implement key tools to increase the impact of sellers
  • Help optimize our investment in world class tech stack (SFDC, Zoom.us, Zoominfo.net, Outreach.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
  • Implement workflow / automation to reduce administrative tasks for sales team


Education And Experience

  • 10+ years’ experience in leading global revenue operations in SAAS software
  • 5+ years’ experience leading sales teams with individual and/or group quota
  • Familiarity with multi-product offerings
  • Ability to build strong relationships across global teams and functions
  • Executive communication skills presenting analysis & data conversations
  • Strong BI & Microsoft Excel competence
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship skills
  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree, or related field or equivalent experience


Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This role will have supervisory responsibilities


Work Environment

  • Standard indoor working environment.
  • Long periods of time sitting while working at a computer.
  • Regular contact with co-workers via online tools or in person.
  • Remote work allowed.
  • Independent travel requirement: up to 30%
