Purpose of the role:

This role can be seen as the “machine room” of providing the gtm organization with processes, resources, content and tools needed for efficient success on the one hand and on the other hand ensure the daily operational sales tasks run smoothly and efficiently based on easy to access data allowing a focused and efficient steering of the gtm organization ensuring a reliable delivery of our commercial plans.

Main tasks of the position:


  • Lead the monthly GALP Sales forecasting process based on S&OP excellence principle by ensuring closest collaboration between the sales, marketing, demand and finance teams.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure that commercial goals are met.
  • Pro-actively drive the development of gap closure plans where necessary to reach our commercial targets.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and develop solutions to strengthen the local planning processes.
  • Prepare and present reports, forecasts, and recommendations to management.
  • Conduct the monthly cross functional Sales planning alignment meeting (S&OP Meeting).
  • Define and implement the usage of Salesforce across the GALP Sales organization.
  • Link Power BI, Salesforce & ShowPad to make it the single point of data for the Sales & Marketing Organisation in GALP (see approach in France).
  • Coordinate training activities to ensure the organization’s ability of using the defined Sales tools.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, supply chain management or related field
  • 10+ years of in depth supply chain management, S&OP, forecasting, financial and sales operations experience
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A very strong sense of urgency in identifying, analysing and acting on situations and opportunities
  • Excellent experience with ERP and CRM systems
