Okta is looking for a Senior Revenue Operations Specialist to help us build and scale our Revenue Operations. The ideal candidate will be a key member within a diverse and inclusive Revenue Operations department who carries a passion to drive operational efficiencies and is constantly looking for ways to improve and accelerate the quote-to-cash cycle.

Job Description Outline:

  • Serve as Revenue Operations subject matter expert to various business partners in Finance, Sales, Professional Services, Deals Desk, Sales Operations, and Business Systems
  • Troubleshoot complex issues, providing clear resolution and guidance for operational challenges.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of all processes to support and guide the team as needed
  • Responsible for handling complex cases and bookings
  • Perform assigned month end accounting and reporting operations activities
  • Generate and maintain detailed documentation of policies and processes
  • Assist with process improvement/automation initiatives as they arise
  • Identify opportunities and resolve challenges within the revenue operations process

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or accounting, or related field
  • 2+ years experience in business or sales operations, preferably with a high-growth SaaS company or software industry
  • Understanding of the sales cycle and basic knowledge of software revenue recognition principles.
  • Experience with Salesforce, CPQ, and Netsuite or other ERP system
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc) preferred
  • Ability to work independently and move fast, adapt, and thrive in a dynamic and fast changing environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience collaborating successfully with diverse cross- functional teams
  • Team player attitude to assist with quarter end close activities when it’s “all hands on deck”

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:

$86,000—$130,000 USD

The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between:

$97,000—$145,000 USD
