As our client's Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), you will lead their global sales efforts and drive revenue growth. This pivotal role involves developing and executing sales strategies, expanding the customer base, and maximizing revenue opportunities across various market segments and geographies, mainly focusing on short sales cycles, selling to SMBs (Small and Medium-sized Businesses), resellers, and channel sales. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in cybersecurity sales, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives, focusing on short sales cycles, SMBs, resellers, and channel sales.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing global sales team, providing guidance, support, and direction to drive results.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and channels to expand market reach and revenue streams.
  • Foster strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to enhance retention and drive long-term growth.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and product development initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product management, and other departments to align sales efforts with overall business goals.
  • Establish and maintain metrics and KPIs to measure sales performance, track progress, and optimize sales processes.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance the sales approach and offerings.



Qualifications:

  • MUST: Proven track record of success in cybersecurity sales, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales leadership roles
  • MUST: Experience short sales cycles selling to SMBs and including resellers other channel partners.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, able to drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity technologies, trends, and solutions, with the ability to articulate value propositions effectively.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and challenges.
  • Willingness to travel to meet with clients, partners, and team members globally.
  • Ability to relocate to or spend significant time in Boston, MA, as required by the role.
