About The Job

As a General Manager, you will lead our sales team, spearheading efforts to drive revenue growth and ensure sustainable success. The General Manager of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing sales operations, and cultivating a high-performance sales culture within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • This position is responsible for the South Central and the ideal candidate resides in Dallas/Austin or nearby areas.
  • Develop and implement sales and go-to-market strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within the Division. Works closely with distributor management teams to drive Liquid Death brand performance in all accounts.
  • Serves as a liaison between channels, ensuring alignment of goals with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations to drive overarching Company objectives.
  • Lead, mentor and motivate high-performing sales team, providing guidance to drive individual achievement and team success.
  • Responsible for developing and managing forecasts, financial targets, P&L and budgeting.
  • Develops Annual Business Plan and offers strategic insights and direction for the development of channels, customer/distributors, and regional sales strategies.
  • Builds strong relationships with key partners at distributors across the Division. Connects from street to c-suite at all distributors.
  • Ability to directly manage a small amount of Key Account call points. Identify opportunities, build a plan and execute with the distributor network.

Knowledge, Skills, & Experience

  • 8+ years of experience progressing in sales distribution leadership roles
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with a minimum of 10 years of experience preferably in beverage or CPG
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred
  • Strong organizational & analytical skills.
  • Understanding of VIP/KARMA, Nielsen, IRI data
  • Proficient in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Power Point) and Salesforce
  • Setting, tracking & measuring KPI’s. Measuring progress vs plan
  • Strong sales leadership experience and demonstrated ability to lead teams to achieve revenue targets
  • Proficiency in sales planning, forecasting, budgeting, and leveraging sales data
  • Travel 50-75% of the time.

The typical salary range for this position is : $141k - $180k

The actual salary offer will take into account multiple factors including skills, experience, education and location. Please note that the salary details listed in role postings reflect the base salary only, not total compensation, which includes equity and benefits.
