The position can be based anywhere in the United States, preferably in close proximity to a Chubb Regional Office, and the candidate should be willing to travel anywhere across the continental United States. The role will report to the Small Business Vice President of National Partners.

Job Summary
- Responsible for the execution of key business strategies across national distributors who uniquely require a single centralized business development leader.
- Manages and maintains focus on achieving metrics across KPI’s, including quotes, issued policies, line/industry mix and profit.
- Exhibits a thorough understanding of Chubb capabilities and corporate vision.
- Consistently delivers superior results on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Develops strategic sales plans with actionable tactics to support new business development efforts..
- Work closely with Chubb Small Business underwriting staff to promote small commercial products and capabilities.
- Support the management and sales development efforts for Chubb’s largest partners. Maintains and shares feedback surrounding market conditions specific to these national partners.
- Supports business development for digitally enabled brokers. Identify opportunities to optimize the overall performance of our APIs, enhance workflows and diagnose roadblocks. Identify needs based on trend drivers and translate those needs back to product, ops, underwriting and IT.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years proven sales experience in a high performing culture and organization.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual production goals.
- 4 year college degree preferred; professional designations such as CIC and CPCU highly desirable.
- Basic understanding of small commercial underwriting strategies.
- Negotiation, relationship building and influence skills across both internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency across the standard suite of Microsoft products (excel, word, outlook, etc.)
- Ability to work collaboratively with senior management in a positive, mission driven and self-directed manner.
