**Role Description**

The ideal candidate for the VP Sales / Director of Sales / Head of Sales position should possess a proven track record in sales leadership, specifically in the marketing technology sector or similar areas such as AdTech. Expertise in selling to Marketing and/or Advertising professionals is highly desirable.

**Responsibilities**

  • Craft and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets and enhance market penetration in the marketing technology sector.
  • Lead and nurture a high-performing sales team, offering guidance, mentorship, and support for individual and collective success.
  • Cultivate enduring relationships with key clients, prospects, and partners to drive business expansion and capitalize on revenue opportunities.
  • Identify emerging business prospects and market trends, devising innovative sales strategies to leverage them effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of sales efforts with business goals and customer requirements.
  • Analyze sales metrics and performance data to assess effectiveness, identify areas for enhancement, and implement corrective measures.
  • Stay informed on industry developments, emerging technologies, and competitive trends to inform strategic decision-making and uphold a competitive advantage.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to advocate for solutions and enhance brand visibility.

**Qualifications**

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in sales leadership roles with a track record of achieving targets.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing, advertising technology, data analytics, and related domains.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate sales teams.
  • Strong analytical acumen and problem-solving capabilities underpinned by a data-driven decision-making approach.
  • Experience in cultivating and sustaining relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adeptness at adapting to evolving market dynamics.
