Role Summary

As the Vice President of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in leading and empowering a high-performing sales team to achieve our organizational goals. Your responsibilities will include setting strategic objectives, managing budgets, and developing training programs to enhance the capabilities of our sales force.

Responsibilities

Recruit, train, and mentor regional and local sales managers and staff.

Coordinate and supervise sales managers' activities, territories, and performance.

Build a strong network to identify new sales opportunities and leads.

Engage with clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable products and services.

Provide tailored product demonstrations based on client requirements.

Ensure ongoing client satisfaction and promptly address any post-sale issues.

Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them updated on new offerings.

Record sales activities and performance metrics accurately.

Offer periodic sales forecasts for territories.

Motivate and support the sales team to consistently achieve targets.

Analyze sales data to predict trends, identify new markets, and refine strategies.

Assign territories and establish sales quotas aligned with organizational objectives.

Effectively address client complaints and operational challenges.

Collaborate with executive leadership to develop sales strategies and quotas.

Develop and manage the sales budget, monitoring and approving expenses.

Represent the company at industry events and trade association meetings.

Requirements

Minimum of 10 years of sales experience.

At least 5 years of sales leadership experience.

Background in logistics, last-mile delivery services, or related industries.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Proven negotiation skills and a focus on exceptional client service.

Effective supervision and leadership capabilities.

Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
