Job Purpose:

The Sales Operations Manager provides support for specific base of accounts in collaboration with Account Executives. This position supports accounts in a way that meets customer care standards and allows Account Executive to focus on revenue-generating activities.

Sales Operations Managers are essential to proactively educating, supporting, and leading customers through their journey in technology. This proactive approach helps ensure customer success leveraging altafiber solutions, while promoting the likelihood of a long and mutually beneficial business partnership.

Essential Functions:

  • Specific responsibilities will include providing both operational and strategic support to enable Sales reps and Sales leaders to successfully execute on business objectives, you will collaborate and manage centralized reporting, work directly with sales leaders to achieve sales goals. You will achieve this by managing the day-to-day operations requests of customers including general account information, billing, technical issues, including service escalations, etc. Building a proactive plan to influence the customer base in a thoughtful and relevant manner cultivating successes and deepening vendor- customer relationships. Operationally supporting a team of sales reps and sales manager by managing tasks and meeting deadlines set by sales reps and sales manager Interface with sales reps and manager to address support or administrative issues, including service summaries, installation, billing questions, handling outages, etc. Meeting with manager/team/coaching and development; working effectively with support groups; maintaining timely and accurate information into SalesForce.
  • The Sales Operations Manager will also help oversee implementation of key customers' entitlements, including coordinating the day-to-day customer signature experience from onboarding through contract renewal and expansion. They develop deep relationships with their customers' team members and pair that with relevant industry knowledge to improve implementation health. This role will also partner across altafiber to provide a unified experience for their customers.
  • The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for helping our sales reps ensure our customers' success and fostering long-lasting relationships. Your main objective will be to understand the unique needs and goals of our customers and help meet and exceed their expectations. You will help the sales reps with being the driving force behind customer happiness, retention, and support

Education:

Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Certifications, Accreditations, Licenses:

  • Customer Success Manager a plus
  • Project Management Professional a plus
  • Certified Project Manager a plus
  • Agile Project manager certified a plus

Relevant Work Experience:

5 to 7 years in related field

Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Creative resourcefulness Complex problem-solving Phone skills
  • knowledge of altafiber systems, and communication skill's Inherent ability to close sales/negotiation skills/phone sales skills
  • Must have attention to detail and Business/professional writing skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work successfully in a team environment.
  • Honesty & professionalism
  • Sense of urgency with Time management skills
  • Ability to learn and adapt to coaching & direction,
  • Independent worker, with the ability to prioritize, multitask and engage dynamically with customers,
  • Ability to take ownership, work under pressure, and meet deadlines on time,
  • Excellent people management skills, including the ability to influence, negotiate, and achieve results through others who are not direct reports.
  • Ability to challenge, recommend, and redirect teams, as well as manage customer expectations.
