The Role:

We are looking for an experienced sales and/or operations analyst to support Sales Planning for our North American beverage business. This role will play a critical role in development and execution of our sales forecasting practices, business objective setting (KPIs), commercial strategy and cross-functional processes and collaboration. This role reports into the Sr. Manager, Sales Planning & serves as a bridge between the National Accounts chain sales team and operations, finance, and leadership groups. You will own the gathering and roll up of customer inputs/projections needed for integrated business planning. In the other direction, you will ensure the sales team is provided the information and tools needed to plan and execute their business.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales planning, operations, or data analytics with a preference toward sales analytics & forecasting.
  • Experience in CPG, Sports Nutrition or Beverage with experience calling on large strategic accounts.
  • Proficient understanding of retail consumer behavior, customer buying patterns, & route-to-market flow-through.
  • Advanced in Excel, data modeling, & reporting.
  • Proficient PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, & understanding of S&OP processes/terminology.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex data and insights to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking skills with drive for continuous improvement.
  • Strong project management and organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable working with internal shipment, distributor, & syndicated data – NetSuite, SAP, VIP, Spins, IRI, Nielsen, and Customer Portals like RetailLink, ILA, 84.51 etc.
  • Ability & desire to join a fast paced organization as a key contributor to our backend process development in a high visibility role.
