Job Description

As the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our clients and our ADI Global Distribution business. Reporting directly to the Global President and with a global remit, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to maximize revenue generation, expanding market share, maximizing profitability across all regions and customer segments. You will lead a high-performing sales team and branch sales network, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, and customer experience, to drive revenue growth and customer retention to achieve our business objectives. You will sign new business, formulate a larger sales strategy, build a sales playbook, and ultimately grow our market footprint across key areas. You will sell more than just a product and create an impactful story which will further our journey to be the indispensable partner of our customers, suppliers, and team members.

Job Duties:

  • Full P&L responsibilities (4B+ in annual sales and approximately 2,000 team members) - responsible for delivering Revenue, Gross Margin, Operating Income, CFFO aligned with annual budget commitments.
  • Lead all sales and branch sales teams globally.

      • EMEA VPGM (inclusive of sales/branches)
    • Lead and inspire a global sales organization, providing direction, coaching, and support to ensure alignment with revenue goals.
    • Establish clear sales objectives, performance metrics, and KPIs to track progress and drive accountability.
    • Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the sales team.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive revenue strategies aligned with company goals and market dynamics.
    • Active participation in strategic and business unit planning to develop reasonable and thorough revenue projections for annual budgets and multi-year projections.
    • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and prioritize initiatives.
    • Implement best practices in pricing, product mix optimization, and revenue management to maximize profitability and margin expansion.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to understand their needs and drive customer-centric solutions.
    • Identify opportunities to deepen customer engagement, enhance satisfaction, and build long-term loyalty and advocacy.
    • Identify any and every go-to-market opportunity that provides leverage. Utilize metrics, analysis and data benchmarks to quantify opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with other functional leaders (e.g., marketing, finance, operations) to align strategies, streamline processes, and deliver integrated solutions.
    • Champion a cross-functional, customer-centric approach to drive organizational alignment and achieve shared goals.
    • Drive operational efficiencies and process improvements to enhance sales effectiveness and reduce costs.
You Must Have:

  • 5+ years of full P&L ownership experience with recent P&L ownership of $1.5-2B+
  • 10+ years Distribution or Retail Industry experience leveraging a Hub and Spoke model
  • Proven track record of success in senior leadership roles, with at least 10 years of experience in revenue management, sales, and business development, preferably in the low voltage space or electronics industry
  • Global mindset and experience managing diverse, geographically dispersed teams and operations (including North America and EMEA).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
