Location: Bank of America Plaza, Downtown Dallas, TX (Onsite Position)

Travel Requirement: Limited travel, up to once per month

Reports To: Chief Revenue Officer

Position Overview:

The Vice President of Sales at MarketScale will strategically guide a robust and successful sales operation. This role is designed for a visionary leader skilled in optimizing and expanding upon existing sales frameworks, ensuring sustained execution and top-tier performance. Your focus will be on disciplined management, deepening relationships with key accounts, and leveraging advanced CRM and analytics tools to maintain high operational standards.


Core Responsibilities:


  • Sales Leadership: Command a seasoned sales force, spearheading strategic initiatives and daily operations to uphold and enhance sales performance.
  • Excellence: Manage the sales infrastructure to streamline efficiency and effectiveness, including the expert use of CRM systems like Salesforce to manage sales cycles and client engagements.
  • Performance Analytics: Utilize sophisticated analytics and dashboards to monitor, analyze, and report on sales metrics, driving decisions that optimize performance.
  • Key Account Management: Engage with and secure high-value clients, ensuring outstanding service and relationship management to foster growth and retention.
  • Team Development: Lead and cultivate a dynamic team, mentoring for excellence and promoting a culture of accountability. Enhance team capabilities with targeted training and development.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Coordinate with marketing, product development, and other departments to ensure a unified approach to meeting market demands.


Required Qualifications:


  • Proven Track Record: At least 10 years of senior sales leadership experience, managing successful B2B sales operations.
  • Technical Mastery: Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and other sales management tools.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; an MBA is preferred.
  • Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of motivating a team to achieve strategic sales objectives.
