Senior Manager, Contracts & Deal Desk

MikMak is hiring a Manager, Contracts and Deal Desk to join our globally distributed company. This position is ideal if you are a contracts and/or deal desk manager experienced in SaaS contract and order form drafting and negotiations, and CMS and CPQ tools, who seeks to own revenue deal guidance and closure, deepen your legal operations experience, and grow and develop your legal career. This role is a phenomenal opportunity to lead contracts negotiations and legal operations and work on interesting commercial transactions in a fast-paced, dynamic and global company.

A successful candidate is passionate about contributing to a growth SaaS company, providing an optimal experience for customers and internal stakeholders, and making an impact in the eCommerce space. This role reports directly to the General Counsel.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Contracts Negotiation and Administration
    • Negotiate and draft order forms, MSAs, SoWs, NDAs, vendor and partnership contracts and other agreements in support of the Revenue, Partnerships, Legal and other internal teams.
    • Manage the contracts lifecycle, including responding to and tracking requests, routing requests to team members for response, and archiving and maintaining confidentiality of all contracts and related materials.
  • Deal Desk
    • Provide input to the Revenue team on pricing, discounts, and deal structure.
    • Own and support technology solutions relevant to the deal desk, including serving as primary system admin for our CPQ (currently DealHub).
  • Legal Operations
    • Own and support technology solutions relevant to the Legal team, including serving as primary system administrator for our CMS (currently Evisort), Docusign, and other legal tools as assigned.
    • Support the management of forms, playbooks and procedures in support of customer contracts.
    • Support access to institutional knowledge through the organization and centralization of key templates, policies, processes, and other knowledge materials.
    • Track and report on metrics to inform decision-making in developing operational strategies and best practices.
  • General
    • Work cross-functionally with teams throughout the company, including sales, product, finance, marketing, and operations on other responsibilities.
WHO YOU ARE

  • 7 – 11 years of experience in-house, including owning MSA, SoWs, order form and vendor agreement drafting and negotiation, deal desk, contracts management, and other relevant experience.
  • Proficiency with DealHub (or similar CPQ), Evisort (or similar CMS), Salesforce, Docusign, Office 365, Adobe Acrobat, Google Suite, and other tools as assigned.
  • Excellent ethical judgment, can independently function in a dynamic environment, and can handle ambiguity and shifting, competing priorities with flexibility, patience and humor.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly-collaborative environment.
  • Experience in an e-commerce, startup and/or SaaS company is a plus.

Base Salary Range: $100,000 – $120,000 + bonus + equity
