Position: Deal Desk Analyst

Overview

At our Global Technology Company, we're seeking a Deal Desk Analyst to join our team. In this role, you'll be a key player in our sales operations, ensuring seamless deal execution through efficient analysis and support.

Responsibilities

  • Deal Structuring: Collaborate with our sales teams to structure and review complex deals, ensuring alignment with company policies and objectives.
  • Pricing and Quoting: Utilize the Oracle CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) system to generate accurate quotes and pricing proposals for our valued customers.
  • Contract Review: Review contracts and agreements to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with legal and financial requirements.
  • Sales Support: Provide invaluable support to our sales teams, assisting with deal-related inquiries, escalations, and negotiations as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze deal metrics and performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to management.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and optimize deal desk processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, scalability, and customer experience.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with various teams, including sales, finance, legal, and operations, to streamline deal execution and resolve issues promptly.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of deal terms, approvals, and documentation, and generate reports as needed to track deal pipeline and performance.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in deal desk, sales operations, or related roles within the technology industry.
  • Oracle CPQ Expertise: Proficiency in Oracle CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) system is essential, including hands-on experience with configuration, pricing, and quoting processes.
  • Salesforce/SFDC Knowledge: Familiarity with Salesforce or SFDC (Salesforce.com) platform is required, including experience in data entry, reporting, and dashboard creation.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail and accuracy in dealing with complex deal structures, pricing, and contracts.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field is preferred.
