Head of Revenue Operations & Capacity Planning

The Head of Revenue Operations & Capacity Planning is responsible for overseeing the entire revenue operations department. This role is pivotal in driving the operational strategy for revenue generation, optimizing processes, and ensuring alignment between sales, marketing, and customer success teams. This position will play a key role in forecasting, analyzing, and reporting revenue performance, as well as implementing tools and systems to maximize efficiency and effectiveness in revenue-related activities. Additionally, this position will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive capacity planning strategy to ensure optimal resource utilization and alignment with business goals.

Duties & Responsibilities

Revenue Strategy and Management

  • Develop and Execute Revenue Strategy: Formulate and implement comprehensive revenue strategies aligned with ADL's business goals.
  • Revenue Forecasting and Analysis: Conduct accurate revenue forecasting, providing insights into performance trends and identifying opportunities for growth.


Operational Excellence

  • Process Optimization: Streamline revenue-related processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the sales, marketing, and customer success teams.
  • System Implementation and Management: Oversee the deployment and management of tools and systems that support revenue operations.


Capacity Planning

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive capacity planning strategy to ensure optimal resource utilization and alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and forecast future capacity needs.
  • Conduct regular capacity assessments and identify areas for improvement or optimization.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to capacity utilization and efficiency.
  • Identify and implement technology solutions to support capacity planning and management processes.


Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborative Leadership: Lead cross-functional initiatives to ensure alignment and cohesion between different departments impacting revenue.
  • Team Development and Training: Build and maintain a high-performing revenue operations team, providing ongoing training and development.


Compliance and Best Practices

  • Policy Development and Compliance: Develop and enforce operational policies and procedures in line with industry standards and best practices.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and manage the performance of the revenue operations team, ensuring the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs).


Innovation and Continuous Improvement

  • Innovative Solutions: Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance revenue generation and customer satisfaction.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the revenue operations department.


Education And Experience

  • Advanced Degree: Master's degree in business administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Relevant Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.


Knowledge:

  • Revenue Operations Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of revenue operations, sales enablement, and business process optimization.
  • Analytical Tools and CRM Systems: Proficiency in analytical tools, CRM systems, and other technologies used in revenue operations.


Skills:

  • Strategic Planning and Analysis: Strong skills in strategic planning, financial analysis, and forecasting.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
  • Communication and Interpersonal: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
