Summary:


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to take on the role of EVP, Chief Growth Officer at a leading mid-size sports, hospitality, and lifestyle public relations firm. This position requires the strong ability to manage operations, source new business opportunities, lead new business pitches, provide expert counsel to clients, effectively manage staff, and enhance overall profitability. Role is based in headquarters of NYC office.

Core Responsibilities:


  • Oversee all operations of company including P&L, human capital, and client relation management.
  • Business: Proactively identify and cultivate new business opportunities, through various channels such as networking events, industry conferences, and client referrals.
  • Business Pitches: Lead the development and execution of new business pitches, ensuring the firm's value proposition is effectively communicated to potential clients.
  • Counsel: Provide strategic counsel to clients, leveraging industry insights and experience to guide them in achieving their public relations goals and objectives.
  • Management: Oversee and mentor a diverse team of public relations professionals, ensuring their success, growth, and development within the firm.
  • Performance: Develop and execute strategies to increase profitability, including client retention, upselling, and identifying cross-selling opportunities.
  • Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and competitor activities to maintain the firm's leading position in the sports, hospitality, and lifestyle sectors.
  • Management: Foster and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, media outlets, industry influencers, and partners.

Key Qualifications:


  • Master’s degree in public relations, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Track record of success in sourcing and securing new business opportunities within the sports, hospitality, and lifestyle sectors.
  • Ability to lead new business pitches from ideation to execution, showcasing exceptional presentation and persuasion skills.
  • Experience providing strategic counsel to clients, managing client relationships, and delivering measurable results.
  • Leadership and team management abilities, with a proven track record of successfully motivating and developing staff.
  • Financial acumen, with the ability to analyze financial data, identify opportunities for growth, and develop strategies to increase profitability.
  • Written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and strategies to clients, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of the sports, hospitality, and lifestyle industries, including key trends, media platforms, and industry influencers.
  • Networking abilities, with an extensive network of contacts within the sports, hospitality, and lifestyle sectors.
